    Finally Free

Hi, my name is Jenni. I stand here today clean as ever and I love the feeling. October 4th, 2003 will be 8 months. I had a tough time quitting, but I'll get down to the dirty stuff now. It all started August 16, 2002 when my girlfriends and I went to the next town to meet some friends of theirs that I didn't know. That was the biggest step I ever made. They offered me some crystal to smoke and snort which I liked best. That was the beginning of a long but satisfying road. From that day on I was smoking and snorting meth daily. 3-4 times a day, anywhere, anytime I could get it....

From a Fifteen Year Old Meth User

I'm 15 and I've been using meth for nine months. I'm addicted. I've been sober for about three weeks now, but not by choice. And it's been hell for me. I can't eat, sleep, think, or feel the right emotions at the right times. I didn't know what I was getting into and when I realized I was already too fucked up. If dope wasn't so much fun at first it would be a lot easier. The saddest part to me is that I can't remember the last nine months at all. I should have stopped when I realized that my thinking wasn't the same, but did I? No. Now I feel as though I can't have fun or be happy without dope. I love it when my pupils are huge and I'm all fucked up. I don't know maybe I'm just fucked up....

    It's All In Your Head

I read these stories of people saying they smoked ice once and got addicted. That's funny because I've smoked ice for 5 years and I only do it once every month sometimes longer. I'll stay up 5 or 6 days , I'll come down , I'll fiend, but then I go to sleep (it's all in your head) LOL. I'm tearing the top of my head up right now. Smoke a doobie and relax, (you're not addicted) THEN GO TO SLEEP, reset your brain. The delirium is mostly from being deprived of sleep. I know people reading this are saying "oh !it's just another addict in denial, but let's see I haven't pawned anything for dope, I haven't robbed my momma for dope, and weight loss HAHA I weigh 230 lbs. kind of big for a dope head. I don't know maybe I just don't have an addictive personality but any way skitzer's remember THE CRANK BUGS, THE VOICES, THE RAGE,THE (HA) ADDICTION IS ALL IN YOUR HEAD, NOW GO TO SLEEP P.S. SORRY IF THIS DON'T MAKE SENSE LOL I NEED TO RESET THE OL' BRAIN LATER, Jason...

    There Is Hope

I have been clean off of meth since 12-15-2000 and am thankful every day and am sure I might not be here to write this if I was not. I ended an eight year addiction that only got bigger and worse with time. I had lost all self-respect and pride I had. But in the last three years have learned to live again. I enjoy quiet time and reading things that were out of the question for a long time. I'm so thankful I have my children and a man who loves me and helped me to walk "that lonely road of faith". Have faith, talk to god and share your stories with others. There is someone out there you might help in their walk. Blessings to all that read this AND THERE IS HOPE. Shelly Marie...

    Still Tweaking

Hey ya mate. Just read your site. I think you're doing the right thing, by trying to educate kids to stay off of things that will damage their bodies, some of which may still be developing, thus causing horrible permanent damage. Some of the stereo-types about "tweakers" in the before mentioned information, I believe is unwarranted. It's 6:33 am here in Texas at the moment. This is my third day up so far, I'm "tweaking" right now. And I believe that, though I may not speak for everyone who does Tweak, I can speak for the majority of the tweakers I know. And I am a stable productive person, albeit my perception is a tad off, but none-the-less I am not any more prone to criminal mischief, than the next man. But all in all excellent sight, excellent message, and god bless....

    Crank User No More

I stumbled onto your site by accident this evening. I am a 22 year veteran of Alcoholics Anonymous. Thirty four years ago, at age 17, I got involved with the wrong guy. For the next four years I mainlined almost pure crystal meth as many times a day as I could get it. Pure crystal meth amphetamine is a powerful destroyer of human spirit. I would pass out from overdose, wake up and shoot up again. I was so sick in every sense of the word....
