Question: Could you please tell me the difference between addicts and functional users? Do functional users neglect their children or other things that are important to them? Do all meth addicts suffer from open sores and do they all spend hours picking at them?...

Question: I am wondering if anyone knows what the effects of chemical exposure to the body would be to the person who was addicted to cooking Meth as well as doing it. I am not proud to say that I spent many years' day in and day out messing with chemicals that are hazardous to my health. Hopefully without saying you will know what these chemicals are. Do you know if any, what the effects are, and are they different than ingesting the finished product? I feel that the "cooking" part of this demon is either understudied or left out as a part of recovery. I am desperate to find out the answer to this question, and if it is unknown then hopefully someone will start a study....
