02New Relationship and Meth Use
Hey I am Victoria, or Vicky; I go by both. I am 37. I have been addicted to caffeine and tobacco for years, and have also used marijuana on a regular basis for years. I have been widowed for 5 1/2 years now and for about 4 1/2 have been trying to find someone I could be happy with again. Then last year, October of 2002, I met a man who was perfect... 6'4",200 #s. Thick brown hair and gorgeous blue eyes, and the sharpest mind I had ever encountered. I mean I watched him fix everything, from lawn mowers, to cars, to electrical, to plumbing, to even a gut-shot dog....

Hi, you will probably wonder why I am telling you my story. I always said, "When I decided to stop using speed that I would tell my story to a million people, if that is what it would take to keep one person from ever touching or using any hard drug, especially speed." It has destroyed me! It cost me my marriage to my first love, a good relationship with my children, up to this point and I lost the trust of family and friends. It almost cost me the life of my youngest daughter....

27True Love and Crystal Meth Addiction
On July 31, 2002 at 2:30pm, I walked into the Piggly Wiggly in Idabel OK to make my delivery to the store (chipman). It was my first day in OK working for a guy who broke his foot. I was supposed to be there for 4 weeks, it would up being 6 months. The second I walked in that door my eyes locked with an unbelievably cute girl standing at register 4. I'll never forget the look on her face....

22My Daughter Is A Meth Addict
My daughter is a meth addict, currently with over a month clean and in rehab. It has been a long hard road, and know it will be lifetime work for her. As a mother I always want to fix everything and make it better. It is so hard to let go, which is what we must do. I have to continually remind myself that "I didn't Cause it, I can't Control it and I can't cure it." My daughter started having problems when she was 13. She had panic attacks, depression, started drinking and smoking pot....

16Meth Addiction vs Tough Love
I am a 47-year-old, single grandmother and mother of 2 grown children, a son and a daughter. I am raising my 10-month-old granddaughter as my daughter has been incarcerated since January 21 of this year. I was raised by two wonderful parents who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last Thanksgiving. My Dad was always and still is my rock. He taught me to be strong, to be responsible, good work ethics. I always admired my dad and I am still today "daddy's little girl."...
