    Your Last High

Meth is a pest. Meth is death. Meth is a quest. Meth is powerful. Meth is a killer. Meth is a user. Meth is a attitude changer. Meth will kill you in an instant. Meth will put you six feet under. Meth will use you and abuse your brain and body. Meth will get you hooked the first time used. Meth you can cook or smoke. Meth will ruin family and friends. Meth ruined my life. Meth made me sick. Meth will give you no choice. Meth is a powerful drug that takes you away from being so whole. Meth is a dumb drug to even try. So when you think of even trying Meth think twice. For it may be your last high! S.S....

The Devil is Out to Get Me

The devil's out to get me He puts obstacles in my way He adds feet to the highest mountains, Tries to turn around things I say. He doesn't like my new way of living Drug free and respect for life, He misses everything to him I was giving, And my attitude that cut like a knife! He doesn't like my new crowd of people, Or the meetings I attend. It's my life that's turned around threefold, And I'm working on amends. He gets mad when I don't give into temptation, Especially when I am feeling real low, I refuse without explanation, Today I can just say NO! You don't get it do you Satan, I'm not a slave to you no more! I'm not giving and you're not taking! Because now, GOD answers my door! L.S....

    Stuck by Addiction

Surrounded, trapped, by hatred, set me free! Lost in a world, a living hell is what I call it. My only escape now but an addiction. Holding on so very tight, never wanting to let me go. It loves me, wants me, needs me, like i do it. But it's hated, forbidden. It will be the end of me. I look; I try to find a greatness, happiness in this world. The search is never ending and difficult. The search is almost done, the end is almost here. I have found another love, a stronger more real love. A love to hold, to kiss, to cuddle and be near me. A love that will keep me alive and not kill me. A love to stay with me forever and eternity. But my love tries to set me free from my only escape, You see my love does not understand the pain inside of me, The growing hurt, the open cut i fear that will never heal. The pain was always there, A pain I've grown to love, to enjoy. So now alone and confused, Wanting my addiction more and more, The days grow long the nights are dull. I know I should not turn to help the pain, but can you hear? It's calling me, loudly by name. So loud I cannot ignore. It all seems so pointless now, But I know I may be thankful in the end. Or will I? Why make life easy to live, nothing should be easy. Until my last awakening breath I will stay shattered, Angry, and very alone in a world filled with hate that all we Really have left are addictions. Maybe my new strong love can save me from myself before I'm gone. Now awaiting peace and happiness. April C....

    What Am I?

I'm white I'm beautiful I'm magical, And when you smoke me I swirl around Like a crystal ball-making images within Your mind for only you to see. I love to swim throughout your veins Take over who you are, and turn you Into whatever I want you to be. When you are away from me, I whisper Into the dark recesses of your mind Remember who I am and what I will do For you. I want YOU to only live for ME. You may think you're strong but I will Make you SICK if you stay away too long. P.S. Sick is one thing, death is another. I dedicate this to my friend Walter who died of An overdose last night. 9-25-03. He was 27 years old. Angie S....

    Escape from The Fairy Tale

I see your busy fingers and the sadness in your eyes, I hear you promise quitting, and stay right by your side. But I know it's like the forest with flowers that never die, A Cinderella story, a fairy tale book lie....
