Methamphetamine Abuse Poems

Methamphetamine affects every one's life differently and for the worst. Methamphetamines tear families apart by killing friends and loved ones, destroying addict's health or just by causing addicts to pull away from the people they love. Some individuals that are affected by meth express their feelings best through poems. We wanted to share some of these poems with you.

    Queen of White Hearts

ALL I HAVE LOVED YOU HAVE SEEN. You have taken the hearts of all My Queen. They have been given to you. The souls of all. They bow to you now. No souls at all. OH QUEEN OF WHITE HEARTS. Thief of my man. He loves no other. For you he will stand. To you he will be true. So bright and blue. He will give it all up. Just to be with you. Queen of My Man. Will you be there? When he is down and out, and in despair? I wait for him all through the night. Then she will Creep in, and I won't see him till light. She won't let him be, and now I can see, he doesn't love me. He tries to hide it, and says it's not so, but the nights are so lonely. I wish she'd just go. I Bow to you now, Queen of the Strong, My man is now yours, I will soon be gone. I know you will be there, for him in the night, but who will be there, when it is now light? Oh Queen of White Hearts. So many men you have taken. How many children's lives, Have you shaken? When they give you a knee, and beg and crawl. Will you be there, For Our men when they fall? The Queen of Spades. Will then come forth. My man will bow without any force. Her Crystal smile takes away his breath, Her Spade Will Then Rise, and Cause His Death. Queen Of White Hearts. You have taken our men; We pray to God he will accept them, AMEN Tammy S....

    Dead to the World

I loved who you were; I hate who you became. As time turned, you grew insane. All the meth and other drugs, you took to heal your pain. Your earlier self I want to hug, for you'll never be the same. I remember all the happy times, we had before you died. The memories forever mine, but the present makes me cry. I look out the window; you're passed out in your car. Breathing but dead to the world; hope looks far. I loved who you were; I hate who you became. For all the people you loved, you caused so much pain. I still believe in you, but when will you open your eyes? It's hard but you can quit, and again be alive. You're Niece S.E....

    Ms. Crystal Meth

I destroy homes. I tear families apart. I take your children, and that's just the start. I'm more valued than diamonds, more precious than gold. The sorrow I bring is a sight to behold. If you need me, remember: I'm easily found. I live all around you, in school and in town. I live with the rich. I live with the poor. I live just down the road, and maybe next door. I'm made in a lab, but, not in one like you think. I can be made under your kitchen sink. Or in your child's closet, and even in the woods. If this scares you to death, it certainly should! I have many names, but there's one you'll know best. I'm sure you've heard of me: my name is Crystal Meth. My power is awesome. Try me and you'll see. But if you do, you may never break free. Just try me once, and I might let you go. But try me twice, then I'll own your soul. When I possess you, you'll steal and you'll lie. You'll do what you half to, just to get high. The crimes you'll commit for my narcotic charms, Will be worth the pleasure you'll feel in my arms. You'll lie to your mother. You'll steal from your dad. When you see their tears you must not feel sad. Just forget your morals, and how you were raised. I'll be your conscience. I'll teach you my ways. I take kids from their parents. I take parents from kids. I turn people from God. I separate friends. I'll take everything from you; even your good looks, and your pride. I'll be with you always, right there by your side. You'll give up everything; you family, your home, your money, your friends. You'll be all alone. I'll take and I'll take, 'till you've no more to give. When I finish with you, you'll be lucky to live. IF YOU TRY ME, BE WARNED: THIS IS NOT A GAME. If I'm given the chance, I'll drive you insane. I'll ravage your body. I'll control your mind. I'll own you completely. Your soul will be mine. The nightmares I'll give you when you're lying in bed, and the voices you'll hear, From inside your head. The sweats, the shakes, and the visions you'll see; I want you to know these are you gifts, from me. By then it's too late, and you'll know in your heart that you are now mine, And we shall not part. You'll regret that you tried me (THEY ALWAYS DO). But you came to me, not I to you. You knew this would happen. How many times were you told? But you challenged my power. You chose to be bold. You could have said 'no', and then walked away. If you could live that day over, now what would you say? My power is awesome, as I told you before. I can take your mother and turn her into a whore. I'll be your master and you'll be my slave. I'll even go with you when you go to your grave. Now that you've met me, what will you do? Will you try me or not? It's all up to you. I can show you more misery than words can tell. Come, take my hand, and let me lead you to HELL! Samantha Reynolds...

    How I Wasted My Life

It started back when just a kid, I guess I must have flipped my lid. At fourteen I was quite a drunk, Not so bad, so on to junk. I was smokin' pot and burnin' hash, I found out quick what a waste of cash. Takin' speed, droppin' acid, Never remembering what the fuck had happened. Snortin' crank, shottin' smack, By this time there was no way back. An OD case without much hope, I killed myself on too much dope. Now I'm lying in a box, Please God! Don't close the lid! Not now, I'm just a kid! CKL...

    Meth Using Mom

Someone we thought we knew, We can see your face and we know your name But these past few years you haven't been the same. With the loss of our loved ones we lost more than two, A daughter, sister, mother, and a good friend we all once knew. When our times got hard you took the high, But, when your happiness ran out you made us cry. We thought things would be better and you would be alright, But still you stayed awake late into the night. Now all we can do is pray to God you'll see the light, Be that person we all once knew and get some sleep tonight. Missing My Mom Jessica...
