Busting Portable Meth Labs are Keeping Law Enforcement Busy

Methamphetamine abuse is becoming very dangerous for innocent adults and children. It's extremely sad but when a person becomes addicted to a powerful substance like meth, they become tremendously desperate when they're in need of the drug. Addiction strips away a person's dignity and they no longer care about themselves or the world around them.

They become emotionally and physically sick and the only thing that matters unfortunately is their 'drug'. In the past meth users had to depend on drug trafficking organizations to get their methamphetamine but a few years back new methods of producing meth began to emerge.

Meth users have found a way to 'cook' their own methamphetamine in small quantities and inexpensively so they can make their own meth supply and sell it to others if they want to. One pot methods for cooking methamphetamine is a problem in many areas throughout the United States and continues to keep Law Enforcement busy.

Today portable meth labs are becoming more and more common and meth users are making headlines because they're getting caught carrying them around when they're shopping not only putting their own life at risk but everyone else's. Recently Fox2now.com reported a Walmart in St. Louis had to be evacuated because a woman was carrying an active portable meth lab in her purse. This same women cooking meth in a handbag that caused the evacuation in a Walmart store a couple of weeks later was caught again according to fox2now.com at a gas station with a mobile meth lab.

Some people don't just carry around active mobile meth labs while they're shopping they combine their toxic ingredients together while they're shopping too. Foxnews.com talks about a man from Ohio that was caught mixing methamphetamine ingredients together inside a Walmart store recently with items he was taking right off their shelf. There was also a man who had a portable meth lab in his pants that exploded after he was pulled over by a highway patrolman in Oklahoma according to msn.com. It's very scary to think that some meth users are putting innocent lives at risk anymore when they're shopping, buying gas or just driving down the road.
