Crystal Meth is a Primary Drug of Concern in Colorado

Crystal Meth is a Primary Drug of Concern in Colorado

I know it's hard for a current crystal meth user that's emotionally and physically in pain due to their addiction to ever believe that there's hope for a better tomorrow if they sought help. Meth addiction can be so severe and devastating that an addict loses all hope of ever recovering and getting their life back someday.

Emotionally and physically meth addicts just keep sinking lower and lower into their addiction and eventually lose everything and everyone that was ever good and positive in their life before their drug use.

Sadly young people don't realize the risks and dangers involved with meth use or any other drug abuse and many of our youth experiment with substance abuse before they ever reach their teens. Adolescents don't realize using drugs like meth or any other substance even once may be a decision that ends up destroying their health, hopes, and dreams for future happiness. Sadly many children that begin to experiment with drugs when they're young don't even make it to adulthood and family, loved ones and friends lives are changed forever.

There is life after meth abuse and addiction and many recovering addicts send messages of hope and strength to others that are still suffering and haven't yet received help. Many recovering meth addicts want desperately for others to know how serious and dangerous the drug is in hopes of preventing anyone especially young people from experimenting with it to begin with.

The primary drug of concern in Colorado is crystal meth costing the state around "$1.4 billion" dollars yearly according to an article on koaa.com. A message of hope from a former meth user is sent to "teens across Southern Colorado" hoping to save other lives.
