The one pot method of making meth is still a problem and very dangerous. Various chemicals are combined together when producing meth, and they are highly toxic and dangerous.

    One pot methods of cooking meth are becoming more common and they?re highly dangerous. Not only are they highly toxic but they also highly combustible. Meth cooks not only choose the areas listed above but also rural areas and National forests sometimes. According to recent Safety Advisory Alert from the USDA United States Department of Agriculture, if a bottle is found that contains a white powder with a hose coming out of the top and an ammonia scent around the bottle, never touch it because this is a dangerous stage. The one pot method is more dangerous than cooking meth in a clandestine lab.

    The one pot method of producing meth takes place usually in a plastic 2 liter soda or water bottle and the chemical ingredients are generally the same but obviously not always so. According to the Evansville Courier & Press there is another ingredient that can be found in some one pot productions of meth and believe it or not it?s ?urine?. Some seizures of one pot meth labs in Evansville have showed that a person making meth was possibly attempting to remove the drug from urine.

    It?s very sad the lengths people will go to if they?re unable to get the drug they need because according to the article, trying to remove drugs from urine isn?t new, it?s just not common for a meth user because the drug is so easy to make.
