    The Beginning and The End

    The first shot is great. It's the best of the speed.
    Your day has finally come. You have graduated from weed.

    Now the point is your master, and the powder your life,
    You will let your kids go hungry, Even sell your wife.

    You will steal from your parents. Even gun down a friend.
    As you search for the drug, with a rush that doesn't end.

    Sleep is a state of mind. That is far in the past.
    Hopes and dreams of rest. Are thoughts that don't last

    Your days aren't numbered now. From one to the next
    But all run together. Like a mid-evil hex.

    So each hour passes, and the damage is done
    You soon realize, this drug is no longer fun.

    But you're hooked like an animal. Caught in a snare.
    You'll beg for a shot. From where, you don't care.

    So you scream for a friend. Of which you have none.
    Your life has now ended. It's finished it's done.

    So your mind give up to darkness. Your last thought of despair
    For all the wrong things you've done. To the loved ones who once CARED.
