Because drug abuse is so prevalent anymore most news reports are associated with overdoses, deaths and other very serious issues related with substance abuse. It was refreshing to come across an inspiring report from FOX 10 News recently about a women that beat meth addiction and how the kindness of others changed her life.
According to the FOX 10 report, for seventeen years Sarai struggled with drug addiction and meth was her drug choice. Meth is very toxic and destructive and ended up destroying Sarai's teeth. Because meth had damaged her teeth so badly, Sarai didn't smile for a long time due to shame. Her "salvation" was winding up in prison FOX 10 reports.
Thanks to Linda Parker and her wonderful charity Smiles Beyond the Bars, 26 year old Sari was able to have her teeth fixed which she said changed her life and gave her confidence.
