    Not Hooked Yet

    Question:
I was wondering how long did it take for those of you hooked users to get hooked? Are there any of you out there who have just been occasional users?

I'm asking because I was turned on to meth about a year ago, and still use only occasionally. As in, maybe 1 or 2 times a month - if that (seriously). Don't get me wrong on a Friday night "now and then"; I will get a wild hair up my ass and think "Hey I wanna get some", but if it doesn't happen, I'm not all pissed about it. I guess I'm just wondering is it possible to be a "now and then" user, with out getting all caught up in it and have it ruin your life? Thanks for your time.

    Answer:
A lot of people started out as casual once in a while meth users who never thought they would get hooked. This isn't something a user plans, it happens. Any use of meth with ruin your life in one way or another. Just because you can't see the cells in your brain dying from occasional use doesn't mean they're not, sadly they are. These are toxic chemicals even one time use affects your body.

I hope you're one of the few that uses meth once in a while and then stops because it will catch up with you when you least expect it. There have been people that were fortunate enough to stop before they increased their use and became addicted. Some stopped and went on to other drugs. I hope you don't use other drugs occasionally because if you do you have a lot more going on with your life than you realize. I promise you no matter how often a person uses meth it is affecting your life, you just can't see it right now.
